I downloaded Thunderbird 3 [1] (and the update to 3.0.1) a couple of weeks ago. A much-needed update to Thunderbird, especially in the area of search.
However, there's one problem which is proving to be a major irritation. I get my mail through IMAP, and access it via at least 2 different computers on a daily basis, both running Thunderbird 3. I am noticing that many of my mail folders display random messages as 'unread', even when they are explicitly marked 'read'. This does not seem to follow any pattern that I can discern, but is becoming a major pain. An hour with google produced a few similar complaints (including with earlier versions of TB) but no solutions. Anyone here got any ideas?
