Fair enough. Most military news items used to follow the "press release" or news agency route. But interestingly there are now a few extremely informative blogs by reporters which are far more comprehensive than the news media. So the pack reporting now may be a sign of the times - with the internet competing with traditional media and serving as a source. On another note - you (and I and I presume some others on silk) are freaks who read more than one paper. That is how you discover that the same news has appeared in all the media. No? shiv
