[The phone forces top posting... apologies] Not a particularly interesting flavor. Quite tough and so served sliced very thinly in a chrysthanthemum flower pattern vaguely reminiscent of carpaccio.
But didn't *taste* like cardboard. Have not had cobra heart and probably won't. Don't like the practice of killing animals for virility "cures" (my recent sea slug notwithstanding). Plus I like snakes (not as food. As food the ones's I've had have been pretty boring. Frog is better. Snails are better.)
