It does?! That's terrible. I didn't read the article even though I've
recently been in both malaria and yellow fever belts.

My friends list is all a twitter about the use of gmo mosquitoes in malaria
control.  I personally think it's great.

At the source? Why is that? I've seen effective post-disposal separation
programs and that approach seems ideal for India where there is an
abundance of cheap labor.

It seems to me the problem is more around quick and efficient collection so
that garbage doesn't sit around for days smelling bad and attracting
vermin. What am I missing?
