Hi,

I am planning to take a break and travel to US and then southwards to
Central America till Panama. The countries I am planning to visit are
the US (1 month - New York and Los Angeles for a week each - rest open
to suggestions), Mexico (about 2 weeks - most of it in Yucatan),
Belize, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras and
Panama (8 weeks in total). The whole trip should last about 4 months.
I have an Indian passport so that makes things a little difficult.
Almost all countries do not require visa or issue Visa on arrival
(except Belize) if you have a valid US visa (which I have).

I am planning to do this overland (by bus) going south from Los
Angeles to Mexico and onwards to Panama (flying out from there back
into India). It seems that getting visa is not an issue (except Belize
which seems to have some crazy rules). If you know anyone (preferably
an Indian passport holder though any help is okay to plan) who can
help with the planning and the visa/border crossing rules and places
to visit and see, that would be a great help.

Any help on-list or off-list is welcome.

Regards
Vinayak
