I think a friend of mine has Nasreen Mohamedi in his collection.

In the recent Saffron Art auction, I found this Ram Kumar work
beautiful, though I cannot describe why:

I looked at a Raza abstract from the same auction and did not like it much:

For some reason, this Raza seems to have gone unsold during this auction.

Like Charles, I did not know what to make of Rothko, but I saw a BBC
documentary on him and that made me change my views. I am now looking
forward to seeing Rothko's work for real, before making up my mind.

What I find fascinating is how does one identify a really good work of
abstract art?
