Varies widely depending on the exact court, the judge involved, how much the government tries to delay etc. I would imagine the first court hearing will take place within a few days of the case being filed. After that it really depends how things go. A few weeks at best, to a few months more likely. Longer if there are unusual circumstances or the government tries to delay etc. This kind of case is unlikely to take years, for various boring procedural reasons I won’t bore you with.
