April 19, 2000. I found Udhay via a company he worked with (SMS
Internet gateway something or other), and wanted to study Indian
start-ups. That failed, but I found silk-list, and a lot of
intelligent flaming, as promised, along with a bunch of
interesting people in Bangalore and around the world. It gave me
material for a chapter of a book, and the book gave me tenure,
and so I guess I owe my life to silk-list. Worse things to be
indebted to...
