Hello Arnie, Manette, and List, Well, when it rains it pours! :)
Just for the record, the list has a policy against commercialism, and folks hawking their wares , so to speak. Check with Gary Hawkins on this if you want it clarified for you <[email protected]>. The post that Arnie has included below, the one that was sent to him by me, was a PRIVATE POST! He seems to have missed this some how. (?) Folks who are interested in selling their products can simply put something in their "signature" at the end of their posts. This is a nice way to show folks how they can get information on your product, without having to run continual ads on the list. Why not? Is this too much to ask? If someone has a wonderful new product, feel free to mention it BRIEFLY, give a referance to your webpage, and then leave the follow up to those who are interseted. Wouldn't this be an improvement? In regard to referances to important books, devices, products, (SOTA etc), that are not profit motivated, or a means of personal gain, should we not share freely what we find important and useful? Things that work, and offer hope! It would be causing harm not to do so! THIS is what the list is all about, no? Let's not get things all out of sync, there are different factions on the list that are miffed when they don't get the "spot light" and all the praise. When their angle, or ego doesn't get stroked. That is not what the list is for. It is for finding the truth about these colloidal solutions we are using and sharing what we find for the betterment of all involved. It also requires a degree of resistance to factions who would like to run the list to promote their own agenda (or just have the limelight). These folks need to either grow up , or find another place to talk silver, in my opinion. (or simply be devoted to keeping quiet and learning) The AMA does not like what we are doing either, by the way. They have a vested interest in throwing a monkey-wrench in the gears of alternative medicine ("the kooks" as they like to call us), and will if we are not diligent in "holding the line" and wise to their agents in our midst. We are in a fight for the truth, and on every side, it isn't over till it is over. We have a lot of work to do, much has been accomplished that is of tremendous value. This is not due to any single member of this list, but due to all , even those who do not post on a regular basis. Those of us who are sharing these things with friends, family, community, congregation, and public at large. Those who are giving a simple and effective answer to those who are sick and need something that can work for them. I will not quit, I am in this for the duration! You can count on it! I was in it before the list got started, and will continue well past it's close. This is not a sideline, a hobby, a novelty, or an extracuricular activity. It is life or death, truth or error, hope or despair. It is not a game! People are dying out there!
