Regarding diabetes:

Adult type II diabetes is curable simply by losing weight,
regardless of the type of diet that accomplishes this.

Adult type I diabetes (which is what this little girl apparently
has) is not curable as far as we know.

Vanadium and chromium may help, but it is likely that her
pancreatic cells cannot produce enough insulin, and that this
ability has been destroyed, often after a viral infection in
susceptible individuals.

I am oriented towards prevention myself even though I was
classically trained in medicine. I would NOT expect
alternative medicine to have any magic ways of dealing with
this particular disease, and stress that insulin is absolutely
necessary for this girl's survival and you must not take any
chances with weird alternatives.

Unfortunately, this disease will not leave her body.

Dear Mark,

Dr. Gerson, of the Gerson Therapy fame (clinic in Tijuana, and one to
open in the USA soon) apparently cured Dr. Albert Schweitzer of
adult type II diabetes with a complete Vegan diet. The adult type II
diabetes is supposed to be incurable. I have heard and read of other
cures based mainly on a nourishing diet and use of trace minerals
like vanadium and chromium. As I have discovered, you have to look
at ALL things (past, present, and future) that are affecting this
10 year old girl.

It would help to get various alternative health practitioners a shot
at diagnosis and prescription for healing. Be sure to include a
Doctor of Oriental Medicine as they bring an understanding of the 5
Elements and how to get them into balance in the body that Western
medicine ignores. If it is meant to be, someone, or perhaps herself,
will find a regimen of action and change that will remove the disease
from her body.
