This is sounding more and more like arc welding.
What I saw on the website of someone selling hi-priced machines was a
device that looked like what we've been describing in various posts
here (xfmer,jar, electrode hangers etc.) Guy says it'l do silver and
GOLD.
What keeps banging in my head from what you say, is that I'd have to
strike an arc and keep it going underwater. Sounds electromechanical
like a doorbuzzer.
I don't think the commercial unit is that complicated.
Can you help me picture the mechanics?
