H Sparrow,
I was put on Diflucan for yeast, the Dr. said I would be taking it for 3
months. Inside of 3 Weeks, I started noticing my stools were yellow and
long and thin. My hair was also falling out, my fingernails started
bending. I knew these were classic signs of liver problems, but when I told
my MD, he said it was just stress. I called the drug co. and they had their
Dr. call me...I was told to stop taking it. It was causing liver damage. He
said to get a liver profile done and he wanted my MD's name and phone
number. A month later, I had a miscarriage, caused by the Diflucan. I had
never even been told that it would Always cause a miscarriage if taken while
pregnant. I haven't taken a prescription drug without reading everything in
the PDR on the drug since.
Kass
