From everything I've read about them, there are two suspected components
making people sick: the EDB's (ethylene dibromides) and some unknown
microorganisms. My guess is that the CS could be helpful with whatever
secondary infection is caused by the damage to the lungs from the EDB's, and
helpful with the microorganisms, but not directly effective against
neutralizing the EBD's effects because they are chemical and inorganic. Just
my guess.
