In our latest studies, we have found that you need to use distilled water at room temp, and put the silver rods 1/2 inch apart. If you do so, you will get 3 to 7ppm in 15 minutes and 10 to 15ppm in 30 minutes. That is with our generator, it runs at 27 volts. We have tried the boiling water method and it seems to take the same amount of time. These tests were done using no additives, such as saline solution. I hope this helps.
