Hi, Leslie, The surgeon I am working with says the same thing. He very
much does not want to do the surgery except as a last resort . I am not
sure I can convince him about using alternative things, though. When I
mentioned Bentonite Clay, for instance, with regard to increasing fiber, (
withpsyllium), he said he didn't know anything about that. He is going out
of his way with these twice weekly phone consultations. I hesitate about
things like homozon, I not only hae to deal with my colon, but also with
this quite severe burning upper center ribcage burning which is almost
harder to put up with than the bowel problem. All of the doctors I have
worked with since the surgery thing was arrived at after the transit time
test and the Bowel X-ray series have said that the surgery would not solve
all my problems, but would make the upper thing easier to manage. I get
reall swamped with all the different suggestions for what to do
alternatively. I am always concerned about what a change will do to me.
The chiropractor I go to told me that I am the only patient he has ever
treated that did not respong positively to using Bentonite Clay and
psyllium. He has been in business in this area for many years.. I do have
a friend who has had the total colon removal. She had to have it or she
would have died. She gets along fine with her"bag" . Is able to do
everything she ever did. I realize that that would not necessarily be the
case with me. I do thank all of you for your concern and suggestions for
treatment. I save all of them and print out many. Ruth

Wow... that is a *long* time.
I would strongly urge you to consider the fact that this is the *root* of
most/all of your health problems - and if you have had this problem pretty
much all of your life, I would ask you to consider a question...
Would you rather have surgery, and have to suffer the consequences - and I
guarantee you they will be sever - at *best* very unpleasant, and at
worst, make you miserable the rest of your life - or, resign yourself to
having to take a few relatively inexpensive supplements the rest of your
life to keep your bowels working?
Both homozon, and Dr Schulze's #1 formula will accomplsih the latter.
I strongly urge you to try the homozon, and Dr Schulze's formulas/program
before resorting to surgery.
Duncans recommendation for SomaLifeHGH is a very good one as well. I just
wish it was more affordable. It isn't extremely expensive, but it isn't
cheap either.
