I'm sorry Jodi, what I wrote below sounds much harsh not what I intended
st all, more of a light laughter.
You have studied papers I imagined, about this particular doctor; I have
studied many medical papers and been examined in methodology, I do recall
some discussion in the past on this one, as well as relevant stuff about
nobel prize and medicine.
What I say in terms of opinion is only mine: I am being riske for a good
reason - The tools I spoke of for others, I am sincere about in case some
haven't read such papers as your doctors, and so could think carefully
about it and were spurred to examine it critically. Your post provided the
perfect launch for my offerings of critical thinking about scientific
medical studies.
The whole subject needs a careful consideration and has only just emerged
as a new topic - vitamn C and supplements in general, no doubt not for the
first time though on this lists history.
Not by me though, because I'm sure, and the nobel prize means less to me
than than a thank you for mopping my brow! In fact I consider it a
marketing tool, and a propaganda machine.

I know that Jodi, unless you were to change our mind, go ahead, but I
don't want you to. My post was for other readers.
I gave clear reasons for people to use as tools in case they haven't made
their mind up and they only had prestige and the health industry to go by.
Your eulogy was on behalf of a doctor with a nobel prize, so I thought
heck, I'm a nobody, I could poke fun at his work.
