Weel, it reads micro Siemans, a unit of electrical conductivity, and that relates pretty well with the ppm. Ode did some tests with it, and it looks very consistent. It is good enough for me, espcially since to get an absolutely accurate (as good as you can get) reading takes some *very* expensive lab equipment, which is out of my reach, like a mass spec.
