I do know a little bit about that. I used to bend neon as a hobby.
The problem is, I know a little bit, and not enough, so I try to not kill myself, at least.

I just forgot what I had learned years ago about it. I don't fuss with electricity much, as I am a bit of a chicken.

   You are not supposed to fuss with electricity.

   Instead, you are supposed to............

   Love, Honor,  Respect and Cherish  it.   There is no other way.

I think you violated a few or the rules, trying to measure the Fault Current
of your Wall Wart.   <grin>

You could write a set of safety rules for other beginners, since you are now
qualified to do so.
