We use our microwave extensively. It stores our bread and crackers and now our dogs don't get to indulge near as much. We quit using the microwave after we read an article from Marcola site a couple years back. Hated to give up the convenience. Have to plan ahead more now.

A man in Oklahoma died from a simple blood transfusion because the hospital used a microwave to warm up the blood. If this type of tragedy does not open your eyes, nothing will! When hearing a story like this it becomes painfully obvious that there is far more to heating up food in a microwave than we have been led to believe over the years. >From this incident alone it is obvious that there are some unknown factors regarding how a microwave uses heat to heat up foods. When you find yourself using your microwave on a daily basis, you too are consuming these same unknowns, which caused an unnecessary death so many years ago. http://www.naturalhealthontheweb.com/microwaves/dangers.html<http://www.naturalhealthontheweb.com/microwaves/dangers.html>
