I don't use a TDS meter. And I know full well my PWT measures
electrical conductance, I just don't see the need to explain that every
time I mention my meter. I have nothing to do with TDS meters.
I think they are all the same, Simple EC meters. How else could they
work ?
Some are better than others.
Someone stated that their meter would not go below 1.0 or
similar. That is what got my attention.
I NEED some kind of conductance meter, to be able to tell when distilled
water is pure enough to make clear CS *here*.

I agree the instrumentation situation is a bit confusing to some. The
manufacturers are helping that by calling them all sorts of things, instead
of what they are.
I guess they know people will buy them if the call them what the people want.
I have always believed, "Call a Spade, A Spade", and nothing else.
And yes, I know, you don't have to tell me, I am a non conformists.
Even IBM labeled some of us that, 55 years ago. But they did not fire us
or kick us out of school.
