sorry, it came up now.

well, he starts by talking about how bad DW is to drink, then he makes a point about soda pop, which is a hugely different subject. "heavy consumers of soft drinks (with or without sugar) spill huge amounts of calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals into the urine."

this statement has nothing to do with drinking DW, only about drinking soda pop. Most of the stuff on the page has nothing to do with drinking distilled water.

Don't get me wrong- I do not eat any of the foods on his list, and do not disagree with him about those foods being bad, or about the need for an alkalizing diet, but I just don't see what they have to do with water, a separate topic.

I disagree with him, because it is a generalization with very little advice. If he were to say, for those eating a bad diet like some in the US, drinking soda pop daily, eating fast food supersized, eating genetically engineered pesticide laden foods, drinking only distilled water can have a bad effect on your health... I might not disagree, but I probably still would, because the problem s not the water, it is the overall lack of good nutrition in the diet.

Some say it is not a good idea to drink alot of water anyway, that it is more nutritious to drink herbal teas or lemonade or whatever, that adds more nutrition to the water.

Can you tell I am bored this week? lol

thanks for the link,

kathryn
