Hi Andy thanks for the reply.  I actually have Security Shield 2008 which
got best AV and Firewall programme on a comparison site.  This has its own
anti spyware.  I also have the Windows Defender running and I have one
called Superantispyware so I would have thought that with all those I should
be protected!  The trouble is, because I do a lot of shopping on the
Internet, I believe you have to allow cookies for this, otherwise you can't
see some of the pages.  Or do you?  This is what I am told, so I have set to
allow cookies.  I know my AV program always removes Trojans because it tells
me every time. Dee

Hi Dee,

It is important to get rid of tracking cookies and Trojans. They are often
the source of spam and pop up windows. They can even copy your keystrokes
and steal passwords and other personal information. I use Spybots "Search
and Destroy". It can be downloaded at www.spybot.com for free and it catches
a lot of stuff that other virus checkers miss.
