Hi Dee
You might wish to investigate "Sandboxie" at *Sandboxie.com <http://www.sandboxie.com/>. *This could be used for your internet shopping or as you please. What it does is to create a virtual computer within your computer. Shop where you wish, with cookies, etc. Then when finished, delete the sandbox (i.e. the virtual computer). Try it, you'll like it!

Hi Andy thanks for the reply. I actually have Security Shield 2008 which got best AV and Firewall programme on a comparison site. This has its own anti spyware. I also have the Windows Defender running and I have one called Superantispyware so I would have thought that with all those I should be protected! The trouble is, because I do a lot of shopping on the Internet, I believe you have to allow cookies for this, otherwise you can't see some of the pages. Or do you? This is what I am told, so I have set to allow cookies. I know my AV program always removes Trojans because it tells me every time. Hi Dee,

It is important to get rid of tracking cookies and Trojans. They are often the source of spam and pop up windows. They can even copy your keystrokes and steal passwords and other personal information. I use Spybots "Search and Destroy". It can be downloaded at www.spybot.com for free and it catches a lot of stuff that other virus checkers miss.

I hope this helps,
Andy
