You should also try Regclean. It cleans the registry of the computer where often anti spyware programs don't penetrate enough into the computer to remove them.
The programs say "stuff" has been removed but sometimes and more so often stay in the registry. Just thought you should know. The other thing you may want to try is a "system restore" which restores the computer to a point prior to where the problems started.
