Faith ~
I guess I was not very clear in my prior listing. My problem never started
until AFTER I had Lasik on my eyes. Dry eye is a common occurrance after this
type of surgery. My Thyroid is fine; always has been. My feeling is that the
surgery itself caused somy type of "allergy" problem, which, by the way, I
strongly feel is not an "allergy" at all but a sensitivity to "something" now
lacking in my eyes secondary to the surgery.
Thanks for your reply anyway.

Carole: Do you have a thyroid problem? I ask because I have a
thyroid problem and I took Levoxyl for years which dried out my whole body,
including my eyes. Several months ago I finally switched to the natural
product known as Armour Thyroid and I am grateful that I did because previously
not even eye drops relieved the dryness I experienced in my eyes. Levoxyl also
gave me a hand tremor and other problems, all but the hand tremor are now a
thing of the past. Hope this helps. Faith g.,

Hi All. I have been reading the posts on eye drop recipes for cataracts.
I believe someone else mentioned that they use a specific formula for dry eyes.
My question is this and please, if anyone else on this list has this problem
let me know if you have any success with anything you use. I had Lasik surgery
on my eyes last November; its been about 9 months now. I have extremely dry
eyes when I awake. I also have problems with eye allergies as the surgeon
told me. This allergy problem was never a problem before I had the surgery.
Anyway, what I am wondering is if there is something I can use to alleviate
both the dry eyes and the allergy eyes. Thanks for any suggestions/solutions.
I am a newbie to this list and have already learned so much from all of you
that post.
