Thank you for posting this, and also the links. It has made for some
interesting reading. While the tone is off putting, the material is of
interest, so it is worth sifting through it.
I have been interested in ammonia lately due to it's ability to
detoxify some (maybe all) of the potent neurotoxins emitted by indoor
mold species (as stated by Wm. Croft, DVM, pathologist; probably
written up in pubmed somewhere). It certainly has worked to a large
degree for me, but due to the fact that an ammonia solution affects me
with it's own brand neurotoxicity, I have been stumped. From this
reading, I am extrapolating that it is possible to perhaps eat/drink
something that would neutralize my own ammonia levels before I clean
with it, then I might be able to use it for a longer period of time
before I kak on it.

Either websites make for interesting reading as to the "the silver ion
issue" listed above. Both seem to refute the allegation that Silver
Ions do not exist inside or are absorbed by the body.
