Greetings,
There another factor which is vital in maintaining bone density:
Super K (LEF with Vitamin K1 and K2)
http://www.lef.org/Vitamins-Supplements/Item00924/Super-K-with-Advanced-K2-Complex.html
Others make it as well, but there is a good description of how Vitamin K
works.
Boron is very important.

She can check out Dr John Lee's book on menopause, he uses natural
progesterone cream for that, and it slowly helps build bones, even in
very elderly women.
Other bone health nutrients are Vitamin D (very important), along with
calcium, magnesium, boron, etc. I have seen supplements with several
nutrients in one tablet at Whole Foods, or a store like that. A good
multi can help too. Of course, this is assuming she is eating Real
Food and not processed garbage. I am a Jack LaLanne fan, and he loves
fresh juices as an easy way to get nutrients in the elderly, he uses
it himself.
