I think your words were, 'pain is virtually meaningless to the lower animals' which to me implies that they don't feel it, and this is totally wrong to me. I also can't think what you mean when you say 'you make sure they feel it when *you* want them to. This also implies quite clearly that they *do* feel pain then, doesn't it, and that you know they do. Although why anyone should want to inflict pain on an animal is beyond me. But then again, I am mystified as to why some people want to blow others up too, and yet they clearly do. I'll apologize to Mike and the list before I get 'told off' and I promise not to say any more on the subject! dee

I simply said, they are different from humans, and they do not fear and worry exactly
like a human.

 I make sure, they feel pain, when I want them to feel pain.
