1. Yes you can use 8 oz. 2. Don' t let the electrodes touch the bottom, what ever length you have is ok. 3. Yes smaller batches use less time. 4. Mix and match as you see fit. No problem. You should have a digital multimeter to measure the current.as that is one of the major factors ingetting the CS you want.
