There is a new book out by a geologist guy wo likes to crawl around in the sewers in St Paul. There are lots of interesting things down there, really old brick tunnels, old brewery caves and mushroom growing caves. The sandstone there is real easy to dig out. Teenagers are the usual ones you hear about going down there. Anyway, that guy gets himself good and sick when he forays into the sewage tunnels to get somewhere instead of sticking to the storm tunnels. Not to mention that a little bit of rain turns them into deathtraps., and we had a few fellows die a couple of years ago when it rain a ways north of town and all the rainwater hit at the same time. Theywere not the regular city sewer men, they were hired special- the city men know how to guage the weather.

I would have to agree with you- bad idea, bad place to go for fun. Not even a good idea if it is work, but someone has to do it at times.

Cheers, Kathryn

I work in places so dirty, ( Dust and Dirt collected for 20 years or more )
I go out to my truck, and wash my hands with CS.

These are Air handlers whereas the material has been collecting
for many, many years.

Not to mention, that I go down into Sewage Lift stations to service them.
Awesome is the word, .......... Don't do it.
