I agree Sol, it is all a matter of personal opinion, unless of course there was something dramatically wrong with the machine which would cause a negative assessment of merit. I have only the silver puppy as it is my first machine and it couldn't be easier to use. It makes perfect clear EIS every time, and in this hot weather, in under four hours. There is almost no residue as it has the magnetic stir and reverse polarity. And not an alligator clip in sight! Brilliant! Dee
