I'm new to the list.  I have some comments on vit. E.

According the the late Carlton Fredricks,Nutritionist pioneer,et.al.,
While the alpha form of E benefits primarily the heart, and perhaps in a
non-antioxidant way, the other tocopherols have the most anti-oxidant
activity,with alpha the least; from least to most anti-oxid.activity:
alpha,beta,gamma,delta. Check the order of letters.

Dose:  Many MD'S say start E at low dose (50-100) and increment by ____?
every two weeks, all the while monitoring one's blood pressure.
Starting at high dose can lead to problems.
Up to 800 i.u. ok, after which, one should monitor one's
condition(s),however they relate to E. Check lit.
When at approx. 800 i.u., Gary Null once stated that this can induce a
herpes out break,if one were herpetic.
Natural vit. E is supposed to be more utilizibel thatn synthetic. I
haven't read any data supporting this claim, but such anomalies do
exist.
They say its best to take mixed forms of E, then if needed, then
increase the alpha
