sounds about what I read Kirsteen, but unfortunately, I can't get it
here, so I will probably get in some Diaralyte and maybe the stuff in
Sandy's recipe. Forewarned is forearmed as the saying goes and I do
know a dog which died from this although it wasn't Parvo it was an
overgrowth of proteus or something. dee

Their site says
Without added sweeteners, Pedialyte is not sweet enough for many
children to drink. Adding sugar (sucrose) to Pedialyte may make
diarrhea worse by drawing water into the intestine, increasing the
risk of dehydration. Adding sweeteners like ace K (acesulfame
potassium) and sucralose makes Pedialyte taste good without the
