Guy at the auto parts store; "What kind of vehicle do you have"?
Answer: A red one.
...sorry, we don't sell parts for red freight trains. If you had a blue
airplane, now.
How much current, what sort of voltage, how much electrode , how far apart,
are they held parallel, for how long, how do you know how strong, in how
much good or bad a distilled water..."stirred or shaken" ?
If you don't know the answers to those questions, then the answer to the
question "how" is ....I don't really know, but at least I use distilled water.
Time does count, for it takes time for some reactions to take place and be
complete.
The questions are, what reactions and how can they be eliminated?
Have you tried a different distilled water? [Never mind that no two jugs
are the same except by accident ]
Might try using a different storage container. [in a clear container, you
can watch what happens ]
**Usually** CS goes yellow if you used too much current for too long...but
that's not the only possible reason.
There are also a few of different sorts of yellow. ie reflective or
refractive from particle size and pigmented from oxides and other
contamination reaction results...which can be, but aren't always related.
Do something different. If you get different results, that's something to
look at.
But it helps to know what you did, so doing it different can also be a known.

I make it in a clear glass container with distilled water. When done, it
is always mostly clear. I am wondering since I keep using the same
colored glass bottles if it is somehow affecting the color in
time? Thanks Ode. Orrilia

How do you make it?

this normal? I store my CS in green or brown colored bottles. Thanks
