A tds meter reading of 000 does not mean there is nothing in the water. Only some things will make a tds meter respond. Other things can be in the water that will not make the meter respond at all, and if they are small enough, you won't see them either. I don't offhand know of any way to tell what they could possibly be other than by having a sample tested by a lab.

I know that the reading is probably not that accurate, but it must be still quite low. This is why I can't understand how I get a TE through the water. dee On 9 Dec 2009, at 13:41, Ode Coyote wrote: > > > Dust, pollen? > Visible particles don't register on meters. > What does register on meters can't be seen. > > Ode > > At 02:08 PM 12/8/2009 +0000, you wrote: >> Hi all, just another go at asking why I should get a TE in distilled water >> (I made) which reads 000 on a TDS meter. any ideas?? dee >> -- The Silver List is a moderated forum for discussing Colloidal Silver.
