I agree,
The money spent on a battery charger and rechargeable batteries would
pay for more than 10 years worth of the common 2 for a dollar
batteries. They last a long time at the current draw we put on them.
If you must, a radio Shack "wall wart" would do the job too. I think
they come in 30v output...
