But Harold -- and Alan too -- how do you know if you're one of the 80% who do
not have excess stomach acid, or one of the 20% who do?

Alan;
I did this protocol approx 15 years ago,  my memory is not
perfect;but,I remember it did not take long ,maybe two weeks.At the same time,
as I repeat, a big change in my diet has kept the effect active to this
day.This also helped me lose a lot of weight too.That bottle of Betaine HCL
lasted me a long time .I would take a capsule once in a while to see the effect
and it was not needed.
The bacteria Heli-cobacter Pylori burrows into the stomach lining and has the
ability to emit and surround itself with sodium-bi-carbonate ,which as we know
is highly alkiline,neutralizing the HCL acid in the stomach..Using acid
blockers,Tums,etc., is pure insanity in one of its' truest forms.
I know,because I went down that road to my detriment.
