Well -- I can tell you what I did. At the recommendation of another list member here, I bought a Godzilla unit and used it to treat the cavity (which is really an infection in the tooth). That killed the infection. Then I bought a toothpaste designed to remineralize teeth. I'll be darned if it didn't work! However -- mine was a reallly small cavity, and I don't know if that makes a difference. MA
