Hi Vilik,

I'm not versed in the use of magnets, but I can confirm your
advice. There's an easier way, though. Find a compass. Whichever
end or side of the magnet the arrow points at is the north pole,
as the compass arrow is made with its south pole at the point so
it points north. Opposites attract, like repels. This saves the
trouble of hanging the magnet and waiting and wondering if you
got it right.
