There is no difference betsween MSM sold from veterinary
outlets and from those facilities offering this substance to the public for
general use. Both offerings are manufactured at the same facilities, under the
same conditions......only the labels differ. This circumstance prevails for
many antibiotics, patented drugs, reagent chemicals, etc., currently used in
medicine and research. The original domestic supplier---for both DMSO and MSM
was the Crown Zellerbach Co. The seminal work on both substances was pioneered
by Dr. Stanley Jacob, M.D. However, in recent years, he did collaborate with
Dr. Ronald Lawrence----especially for arthritis protocol investigations.
