My Amish neighbors raise pigs. They usually grow their own feed, but
their first year here didn't have a crop, so bought feed, including GMO
corn - not knowing there was any difference, or any problem.
Their hogs ate and ate and ate, more than double what they were used to
hogs consuming, but continued
to lose weight. No fat, and lost muscle as well. Had them tested, no
disease or parasites. But their
organs were shutting down, unable to digest and utilize all the food
they were eating. Last year they
had a good crop, plenty of their own feed and the new pigs did fine. Sara
