The SG7 Pro is a high volume production unit from www.silvergen.com which also makes a small home use unit called the SG6 The Pups are geared toward economical home use employing the same principles as the SG7Pro and SG6 consumer models combined.

Neither are a copy of the other, but were concurrently developed confirming the basic principles of current density independently...both now being copied by others who sometimes don't understand the principles.

Rumor has it that the Colloid Master 777 was Trems idea scaled down that hadn't been made into the SG7 Pro yet...possibly inspired by the intrepid experimenter "Ole Bob" Berger who did much to advance the art right here on this silverlist.

A toast in memory of Ole Bob [clink]..so far as I know, the originator of the entire mechanical stirring concept amongst many other revolutionary discoveries freely shared.

Hi Erika, and welcome to the group!!

Your email sounds exactly like my first email did! LOL
I have my CS in glass. Its the plastics I like to stay away from.

As far as generators go, there are a few out there. I'm sure you'll be bombarded with info here, so I hope you have plenty of time, cause you're still going to have to do your research! If you're planning on making large batches for your co-op, then there's probably one or two that may fulfill that goal, the SG7 from Silver Puppy, I believe.

Hello Everyone!
I want to start making my own CS for myself and members of my co-op.
I'd like to know what your opinions are on a few subjects please.

What do you think the best CS generators are?

What is the best way to package the CS once it's made? - I'm confused on this one as one of your list members said not to package in glass but the generators make the CS in glass jars and all the over the counter CS is sold in glass containers????

Is there a shelf life on CS? If so what is it?

In the early stages of R & D here :)

Thanks!
