An animal feed store might have it in bulk - I buy 25 kg at a time of Borax decahydrate
(from Turkey), Epsom Salts, and Sodium Bicarbonate. They are safer to use than
"normal" detergents as per Hulda Clark's writings.
Otherwise in small quantities - yes, supermarket laundry section as a water
softener.
