I usually buy turmeric by the pound from www.herbalcom.com
But I have also purchased from a local Indian grocery by the pound.
I do not buy curcumin. Just take a larger amount of turmeric with fresh ground
black pepper. I also tincture the turmeric/black pepper. It may be more
bioavailable.

Where are you getting the curcumin and turmeric? I bought some turmeric and now
would like to get some curcumin. I just heard it was curing cancer?? I don't
have cancer but don't want to get it nor anyone else.
thanks,
Leslie

        Donna,

There is a promising study at
http://ajpgi.physiology.org/cgi/content/full/296/2/G388
It shows that curcumin or turmeric can protect the esaphogus against
the damage caused by GERD. I would suggest taking curcumin or turmeric
regularly. Esp at night before sleep since most damage happens during sleep.

I was diagnosed with Barrettes esophagus, I had a scope today and the
doctor sent off a couple of biopsies. Is there anything I can do to
cure, stand off, or make better?
        Thanks,
