Deborah-  I shouldn't have used the word bulb, as there are infrared heat bulbs
that are light bulbs in appearance, glass globes with a filament inside.  They
may also be good sources of infrared heat but not what I have experience with,
I know nothing about them.  I get fixtures with ceramic sockets at a feed store
where they are sold for heat lamps for chickens, or at a small store selling
plumbing and lighting supplies.  Home Depot may carry them, I'm not sure.  Ones
with clamp bases are easier to position.  I have used a walker, a coat rack, or
a metal rack of some kind, to attach the fixture in a good position.  The pet
discounters site also sells good ones that validate the warranty on the ceramic
heat emitters.
