Renee, I mixed a teaspoon of sodium chlorite crystals and a teaspoon of citric acid crystals in a saucer and placed that in my shower / bathroom on the floor. The moisture in the room allowed releasing quite a lot of "chlorine" smelling gas and over most of the day. I was in and out there a few times but did not suffer at all.
Dr Richard Loyd did some tests in his motor vehicle I seem to remember. He is a fan now I think.
