## The LOVE table top distillers are quite popular and inexpensive
+++What specific model do you have? Would you purchase that model again? If you
want a different model, which one? Do you use the water for making CS only or
for drinking and cooking also? Do you double distill, running the same water
through twice?

>
> How does one truly know when to stop the CS generating process?

## Use a conductivity meter or a circuit that monitors conductivity and
references it to voltage drop while keeping current constant
+++ OK, I'm essentially conductivity meter illiterate, although I do have one
and use it in rudimentary fashion in the process we are presently
employing........so what numbers am I looking for and when in the process am I
looking for those numbers?

> Approximately what ppm is present when the Tyndale effect is first noted?

## Entirely variable but ideally around 13 uS conductivity..conditions are
almost never ideal.
+++ Thanks, that is what is happening although another earlier source said to
brew the CS all the way to 36, at which point we had a dark amber muddy mess
(which we are using as topical spray on skin).

>
> Will an aquarium air bubbler really decrease the conductivity of the water to
> produce smaller particle CS?

## Depends on how much air you bubble as it actually raises conductivity with
the formation of Carbonic Acid made when CO2 is exposed to water....Silver
Carbonate is not very soluble, will increase the TE and be photo reactive.
[turns grey when exposed to light]
If you use a bubbler, just a few bubbles per second is plenty to do the job of
stirring without altering the water so much.
+++ Thanks - that rules out an apparently very popular CS generator with its
nervous bubbler. Do you stir your CS while brewing? Do you have some sort of
stirrer that maintains motion throughout the brewing process? Is the stirrer
homemade or purchased? If purchased, brand and model or if homemade - HOW???

>
> Do different types of laser lights show a Tyndale effect at different ppm?

## TE has very little to do with PPM You can use it as an idea to fudge a
conductivity reading up or down to account for the presence of unmeasurable
particles as a small portion of the total silver.
+++ I see, well sorta. This may take a while to sink into this retired brain!

>
> Is there any way to determine the particle size of home brew CS?

## You can sorta "eyeball" it with a laser. "Velvety " appearance indicates
that your eye can't differentiate between photon streams from particles that
are narrower than the eyes resolution capabilities, even as a round cylinder
full of water acts like a strong magnifying glass.
It can tell you when to decant, leaving the larger particles on the bottom.
+++ WOW Thanks for the description - we monitered more closely and can see the
difference between "velvety" and what we labled "swimmy".

> Does anyone use a ppm meter and if so which one and what does it really tell
> you AND is it really necessary?

## No meter measures PPM, they all work with conductivity...so get a
conductivity meter and cut out one layer of error.
+++ Thanks for the heads up on this fact also!

+++ OK. Next set of questions.
+++Do ya'll just piece this info together or is there a reference online that
covers what you have found works for making CS?
+++Did you make your generator or purchase?
+++If purchased - which one and would you purchase that one again?
+++If home made, what materials did you employ and how is it rigged? (If you
would be so kind to share the info - hubby does the electronics and I do the
communicating - so this info would not be lost in a black hole.)
NOW A BIG THANK YOU JUST FOR READING THIS AND A HOPE THAT THOSE OF YOU FURTHER
ALONG IN THIS PROCESS WILL HAVE SOME COMPASSION AND PATIENCE TO HELP US GET A
BETTER UNDERSTANDING AND THEN BETTER CS! THANK YOU from Paula
