THANKS SO MUCH STEVE...answers a lot of questions. will probably go with the Kendal. Connie, my friend in fla who is foster for local shelter, is also wanting to start making lip's, has been waiting till I gave the go ahead on best purchase. the Kendal is a nice looking unit and with 170 watt power, realizing all will not be utilized but still very adequate, the 200 watt units by various mfg big price jump. i am curious as to Ode's DIY and will certainly explore any further information. Ode built my first gen, then replacement, mag stirrer etc and his ability to come up with something way cool from random parts is always impressive to me (referring to the mag stirrer).
