Yeah, might just be another version of the pequine, because it also is the size of a BB. Mine is red, his happens to be yellow I guess. And yes--hot enough that just a couple will do a whole pot of chili. Whew!
Speaking of BBs, a couple hours south of here there is a place that makes BBs. I have not got to tour it, but I was told that what they do is drop the molten metal from high up and on the way down it forms BBs. There is a very high tower there when I've driven past the place.
