I was told that Vicks vapor rub or any similar would reduce those nasty red ant bites within a day. I think it's something to do with the eucalyptus, menthol.. that's in those things. I spray CS plus oregano oil on all my bites.. it's semi relieving.. but not perfect.. In a discussion about menthol on the list I learned about " White Monkey Holding Peach "-- ( I know -- crazy name ) but is has more menthol in it than is allowed in the U.S, When a bugger bites me-- I put a small amount on the bite & problem is gone... I did a search & put in the name..Ordered from a company in Thiland... I luv the stuff... Lois
